Dancers aged 3 to 4 years old

Enrolling your child in preschool-aged dance classes is one of the best things you can do for their development and sets them up for future success. Dance classes are a great way to keep your preschooler busy and get their wiggles out, but they also have many lasting benefits.

As your child interacts with other kids and teachers and learns new dance moves, they develop strong connections physically and mentally.  The skills they develop as young children will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Just a few of the many benefits of dance classes at a young age include:

  1. Develops A Greater Range Of Motion

  2. Builds Flexibility And Coordination

  3. Establishes Healthy Habits

  4. Encourages Creativity

  5. Increases Self-Confidence

  6. Develops Social Skills

Age is based on their age as of December 31 of the current dance season (which starts each September).

The following dance classes are available to dancers in this age group:

Mini Movers

In this creative movement class, children are introduced to beginning dance ballet steps in a fun, recreational way. Young children love moving to music and creative movement is a fun way to explore body movement through music. Creative movement also helps children develop physical skills that will be used later in formal ballet classes.

Kinder Acro

This class introduces young dancers to Acro, a popular discipline that combines Gymnastics and Jazz movement. This program is designed for dancers who want to develop their flexibility while having fun learning all the classics (and many new moves!) properly and safely. Kinder Acro instructors are tutored by Miss Alison.

Tiny Tappers

For second-year Mini Movers or children aged 4 years old, this class starts to explore formal tap dance disciplines. Students get to wear tap shoes for the first time which is always fun!
