Haven’t attended formal dance classes or are looking for a beginner-level start?

Or maybe this isn’t your first spin on the dance floor and you are looking to bring your skills to the next level?

Our class curriculum is designed for all levels!

Tap & Hip Hop: Participants have the option of performing in the Winter and Spring Recitals or may opt-out - whatever they are comfortable with.

Pricing:

These classes will run weekly during our full season, just like all our other classes. You can register for the full season or pay as you go with the “drop in” option. Visit our registration page for costs.

Options:

Barre Fitness
This dance-inspired workout is for ANYONE - No previous experience (of any kind) is necessary! Join Miss Alison in a high-energy, no-impact cardio and strength class which combines barre work with high repetitions and low weights to become stronger, sculpt long, lean muscles, burn fat, improve balance and get that dancer's body. Improve flexibility and learn a few fun dance moves!

Tap
Students will learn single sound movements, and put them together into fun combinations, and across-the-floor work. As they progress, they will incorporate more double and triple sounds into their tap work. Class will begin with a warm-up either in the centre or "at the barre".

Hip Hop
Students will learn a mix of "old school" and "new school" Hip Hop moves in this class. Fun across-the-floor work, centre work, and combinations will be done to chart-topping hits, as well as some classic Hip Hop tunes!

Competition Team
Interested in competing? We are looking at having an adult group. Based on the interest, the dance styles will be selected. If interested in learning more, please contact us. Comp classes are excluded from the drop-in option and all participants must participate in the recitals and competitions.
